This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Don't sweat learning it in advance, enhoy your time off while you CAN!!!! Seriously! I am doing pretty good! I am working on a game right now! And getting paid for it too! XD
All I can say is work super hard everyday, or at least make sure the teachers know you are. The more they like/know you, the more job offers they get you! XD
Yeah I suppose , but I have been mostly just relaxing ..haha. Yeah I heard about that actually, wicked wicked , Gratz man! Hope more good things come along for you in the future!
also you probably know about it already but Ubisoft Toronto!!!!!!!!!!!!! so many good things will come from that, maybe even a coop for Seneca too! Though I'll be long gone before that ever happens..haha.. but yeah that's the dream job right there for me , lol . Might have to find work elsewhere to build up experience and all but still good news nonetheless
Yep, that would be the goal for this year, all fun and games but still a competition and 1st connections would be the instructors. So yeah definitely going to have to set a really good 1st impression and actually talk instead of being in the back of the class all the time..haha.
Yeah! You have to treat gaming like a competition... make sure you see what everyone else is doing, and try to one-up them! You will certainly improve a lot, and healthy competition is always fun! Depending if/when we get a studio for work, I might be around more. I would be glad to share my tricks with you if you need it!
my hat is collecting dust...haha..haven't been going outside, mostly sleeping.... but yeah man I can't wait for Sept. to hit so I can get started to doing something again.
You sure will hat man! in the mean time I think I might do some fan art, it seems to be pretty popular on this site, and it would make for a unique challenge, so wish me luck! or give suggestions... or just go back to sleep. ( ' ^ ' )
upto you, all seriousness sometimes Deviant just seems like a popularity contest and fan arts takes the cake. Mostly because that's what the majority or half of the people like. There's so many shows that people are into and one thing leads to another.
So yeah man, I initially did them because of plans of going to the convention this August 28-30 but fell apart because no one else to share the table with...so I gave up. I still do fan arts if I like some anime/manga that I've recently seen. So in short, draw fan arts from anime/manga that you are into since no point drawing something for the sake of getting faves since you won't like the process. So yeah just draw whatever you're into dude! One thing I would say is you already got things going on, so color more of your creatures or grayscale tones since that would actually help in your portfolio and we both know that fan arts does not.
btw Daniel from A class started this joint blog thing for jams [link] basically a good site to see what ideas comes up and you do them if you like the idea, and passing on it is always an option , so no pressure . So yeah let me know if you want in, and I'll ask Daniel to send you an email
LOL yeah, your right, it would be nice to make an actual portfolio instead of fan arts incase something comes up, which has happend over the break, and it would be nice not to start over and use some drawings I already have, I probably should look into that sketch jam thing too since I need some sun.
yeah, I tried learning max myself a month a go or so but like usual...still got nothing done! so damn confused! and way too relaxed at home....
so yeah can't wait to get that year started!
How are things going on at your end man?
